A transaction is missing from a report

If a transaction you expected isn't in a report, it's almost always one of three things.

If a transaction you expected is not in a report, it is almost always one of three things.

1. It has not posted yet

CentSight shows posted transactions only. Pending ones do not appear yet, by design. If the transaction is still pending at your bank, wait for it to post and it will show up on the next sync.

2. The connection needs reconnecting

If a connection has dropped, new transactions stop coming in. Open Settings › Integrations and check for a Needs Reconnection badge. If you see one, reconnect (see Reconnect a connection and restart syncing).

3. It is outside the report's date range

The transaction may sit just outside the dates you are looking at. Widen the report's date range to include it.

QuickBooks: unpaid invoices and bills

If your QuickBooks report uses Cash accounting, unpaid invoices and bills are hidden. Switch the report to Accrual to include them.

CentSight chat answering a question with the Conversation Details panel listing data sources and reports referenced.
Ask CentSight in plain English. The right panel shows which reports it referenced.

Still not showing?

If the transaction is posted, your connection is active, and the date range is right, get in touch and we will take a look.
